Rachel -- don't take this the wrong way, but... are you for real? Either that or you are just putting one over as a joke.

I know it's horribly in vogue to bash Starbucks these days. But your comments are so disconnected from reality, I may need to check behind your sofa for pods or your portfolio for Starbucks shares.

However, when the psychopharmacology meds wear off and you're ready to an engage in a lucid discussion, please post again.

All you have to do is step one foot inside any starbucks store and you'll feel like your that that is your home away from home.. and thats exactly what starbucks strives to acheive!!.. soft music, internet, comfy chairs, friendly staff and the masters of the perfect cup of coffee.. Starbucks to me is a place i can go relax on my own or with some friends and i can count on the same outstanding service and beveage quality every time at any location!!! starbucks only buys the highest quility of beans and ensure only the absoult freshest coffee all of the time!!! Not to mention then amazing silky smooth milk unlike others who re-steam creating ugly bubbly bacteria growning milk!! Andrew, if you like a strong coffee all you have to do is ask and the barista will put an exra shot in for you!!!

Got that right! Their Venti and Grande size cups only offer 2 shots each and you pay heaps for the larger size cup of weak water. Goria Jeans coffees or Hudsons coffee chains are more suited to the Australian Market because Aussies like stronger coffee, not coffee flavoured water and I am really surprised that they lasted 8 years. When you walk past only the tourists go there. And we have heaps of small coffee stores that sell really great cups (like Hernandez in Kings Cross Sydney). Granted Starbucks decor and atmosphere is nice, but in Australia, thats the only thing going for them I think
