One thing I miss about Australia is my mid-morning flat white. Anyone know if there's a barista who does them in San Francisco?

Grazie for the heads-up. Turns out Australia has a thriving Italian immigrant community -- that probably explains how espresso culture took root there.

Re SO coffees, I've finally come to the realization that some beans are better suited for brewing methods other than espresso -- or should we adapt our barista fu to these special varieties? Maybe the lever-heads are having better luck with these SO coffees? Brother can you spare a clue? I could sure use one.
